New business location in the Vienna Airport Region: Logistics real estate developer DLH to build on a 30,000-㎡ site.
The Airport City surrounding the airport continues to grow: Deutsche Logistik Holding (DLH) will construct three logistics properties with a total usable area of approximately 17,000 ㎡ on the roughly 30,000-㎡ site, marking another milestone in the economic development of the Airport Region. This will create a range of flexible warehouse and industrial light halls for future tenants, which are ideally suited for air freight logistics companies. The purchase agreement was recently signed by Mag. Wolfgang Scheibenpflug MRICS, Head of Real Estate and Site Management; Ing. Horst Traxler MSc MRICS, Head of Real Estate Management; and Christian Vogt, Managing Director of DLH Real Estate Austria GmbH.
"We are very pleased to have found another international partner in DLH for the development of the Airport Region. With the signing of this agreement, our project development work in the 'Future Zone East' industrial park has been successfully concluded. In recent years, we have succeeded in creating hundreds of jobs directly in the region," said Mag. Wolfgang Scheibenpflug MRICS, Head of Real Estate and Site Management.
“We are very pleased to acquire one of the last available plots near Schwechat Airport. As Austria’s only major international transportation hub, this location is ideal for tenants who benefit from the short distance to the air freight hub for their logistics operations,” said DLH Managing Director Christian Vogt.
Airport City and the Vienna Airport Region are job engines for the Eastern Region
The areas surrounding Vienna Airport are an optimal location for companies seeking growth opportunities, a comprehensive local supply and transportation infrastructure, and efficient connections to international markets. Together with neighboring municipalities and business organizations, Vienna Airport also markets the region as a business location for local and international companies. This creates new jobs and strengthens purchasing power and quality of life throughout the region.
