DLH Develops Logistics Campus in Boostedt near Neumünster

Deutsche Logistik Holding (DLH) has acquired a plot of land measuring approximately 45,200 m² in the “GeLo-Park” industrial park in Boostedt near Neumünster in Schleswig-Holstein. The site can accommodate approximately 26,200 m² of warehouse space, including office and staff facilities, as well as a storage mezzanine.

The fully developed property was sold by a private owner. The land acquisition took place at the end of April 2022, and the corresponding building permit application is scheduled to be submitted in the third quarter of 2022. Construction is slated to begin in the second quarter of 2023.

To ensure that environmental and social considerations are taken into account as effectively as possible, the project is aiming for DGNB Gold certification. The PV system will support the potential for CO₂-neutral operation. Outdoor gathering spaces with nature-oriented landscaping are intended to provide a pleasant working environment.

The property is a portion of the Rantzau Barracks site, which is no longer used by the German Armed Forces.

The Boostedt location near Neumünster is ideally suited for logistics use, as it is situated in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein and is accessible via Federal Highway 205 in just 8 km without any traffic lights to the A7 (Hamburg-Flensburg) highway. Due to high demand within the Hamburg metropolitan region, the surrounding industrial parks are already operating at full capacity. The Boostedt site expands this radius.

In the immediate vicinity of the property in the industrial park (GE) at Planstraße/Neumünsterstraße, in addition to the logistics facilities, there is a gas station as well as shopping options for daily needs. The acquired land between Boostedt and Neumünster offers ideal conditions for the development of the logistics project.
